The rules of using this site

Compare Electronic is an independent UK tech newsroom for consumer electronics, operated from the United Kingdom. We do not sell products ourselves; we publish buying guides, comparisons and explainers, and link to retailers so you can buy from the one you choose.

You may browse, share links to, and reference Compare Electronic content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not scrape, mirror, or republish our content in bulk, attempt to interfere with the site's normal operation, or use the site to violate any applicable law.

Compare Electronic is provided on an "as is" basis. We make a real effort to keep prices, stock signals, and specifications accurate but we cannot guarantee they reflect the retailer's live state at the moment you buy. Always confirm the final price, stock status, warranty, and return policy on the retailer's own site before completing a purchase.

Outbound "View offer" buttons may carry an affiliate tag. If a retailer attributes a qualifying purchase back to Compare Electronic, we receive a small commission. The price you pay is unchanged. Affiliate commission does not influence spec scores or which products are featured. Full detail on the affiliate disclosure page.

We do not accept payment to feature, score, or rank a product. Spec scores are computed from manufacturer datasheets. Editorial coverage is independent of the affiliate programs we participate in. For editorial details see our editorial standards.

To the extent permitted by law, Compare Electronic is not liable for losses arising from your reliance on listed prices, specifications, or availability signals. Disputes with a retailer about a purchase made through an outbound link are between you and that retailer.

We may update these terms when site functionality changes materially. The "last updated" date below increments when we do.
