How do you tell if a Prime Day deal is genuine?

A genuine Prime Day deal beats the product's lowest price of the previous 90 days. The crossed-out "RRP" or "was" figure on an Amazon listing can be a manufacturer price that nobody has charged for months, so it proves nothing on its own.

• Check price history.Keepa and CamelCamelCamel chart an Amazon listing's price over months at no cost. If the Prime Day price matches a price from June, it is a return to normal.
• Compare RRP with the street price. The AirPods Pro 3 sold for £175 in July 2026 and £200.00 in September 2026. A Prime Day price of £175 would show as a saving while matching the July price.
