If your workloads don't genuinely saturate 96 cores, the platform cost is unjustifiable. A Ryzen 9 9950X or even a 9950X3D handles professional work far cheaper.

Extremely high. The CPU alone is thousands of pounds. Add a WRX90 workstation board, registered ECC DDR5 memory, workstation cooling, and a suitable PSU, and the total platform investment is in the tens of thousands of pounds.
No. The 7995WX requires registered ECC DDR5 (R-DIMM), which is server-grade memory. Standard consumer DDR5 sticks are not compatible with this platform.
Technically, but it would be a very poor use of a very expensive platform. A desktop Ryzen chip at a fraction of the cost delivers far better gaming performance.
The 9995WX uses Zen 5 architecture with higher boost clocks (5.4 GHz versus 5.1 GHz) and faster DDR5-6400 memory support on the same sTR5 socket. For new builds, the 9995WX is the better investment.
