What is the total cost of a 7995WX workstation build?

Extremely high. The CPU alone is thousands of pounds. Add a WRX90 workstation board, registered ECC DDR5 memory, workstation cooling, and a suitable PSU, and the total platform investment is in the tens of thousands of pounds.

Is the 7995WX compatible with consumer DDR5 memory?

No. The 7995WX requires registered ECC DDR5 (R-DIMM), which is server-grade memory. Standard consumer DDR5 sticks are not compatible with this platform.

Can the 7995WX be used for gaming?
