Is the GeForce RTX 4070 Super Founders Edition right for you?
If you want full 4070 SUPER performance in a 2-slot, sub-250mm footprint with premium build quality, the Founders Edition is one of very few options. Ideal for SFF and ITX builds where space matters.
If you don't need the compact form factor or the FE aesthetics, a current-gen partner RTX 5070 or 9070 typically delivers better performance per pound with DLSS 4 multi-frame gen.
Before you buy
Officially no. Nvidia discontinued the Founders Edition once the 50 series launched. Available stock comes from second-hand listings or remaining retail clearance, often at premium prices due to collector interest.
It's a compact 2-slot card around 244mm long, much shorter than most third-party partner cards. Fits in virtually any case including mATX and most ITX builds.
Nvidia recommends 650W, which is plenty for most builds. A quality 650W or higher unit from a reputable brand will have comfortable headroom even with a power-hungry CPU.
Same gaming performance, since the chip is identical. The FE wins on build quality, materials, and compact footprint. Partner cards often win on cooling headroom, overclocking, and price.
